This tweet wasn’t the only thing that convinced me to start this website. Although, I won’t pretend that the brighter parts of this artist’s career haven’t influenced a lot of what I realize is possible for myself.
Representation of the self and awareness of the self. Self curation. Such an arduous and occasionally fulfilling journey.
I don’t know what I hope from this outlet. I already find myself not hoping for much other than its existence. The space it allows me to hold for myself. The repository. The photo album. The short film festival. My brain’s compost bin.
Fertile ground to grow something.
